The Clawbill Compact was a faction created by my girlfriend and me in collaboration from start to finish. We took inspiration from the real world mutualism of yellow-billed hornbills and dwarf mongooses, who work together to get food and keep each other safe. Our Very Important Piece is The Mound, a (presumably termite) mound that was taken over by the Mongooses and is the hub for The Compact restoring their former glory. Because The Mound was built from an abandoned structure, it can be rebuilt, destroying enemy buildings and creating a new mound there.

As with the real world, hornbills show up at The Mound at the start of each day and call mongooses out to begin their daily activities. Throughout the faction we positioned the hornbills to serve as lookouts while the mongooses do the heavy lifting. This was a fun project, hope you all enjoy!
